We are proud to announce our new range of beers were a huge success at the British Bottling Institute competition.
Our Taylor Made Range and Knowle Spring Blonde collectively grabbed four awards for bottled beers.
The beer tasting part of the competition saw our delicious Knowle Spring 4.2% ABV take gold, while our new Taylor Made ales Cook Lane IPA 5.8% ABV and Poulter’s Porter 4.8% ABV took home silver.
Our Taylor Made range – Cook Lane IPA, Poulter’s Porter and 1858 Brown Ale was also awarded a diploma for packaging design.
Head brewer Andrew Leman said: “We have never had three award wins at the same competition before. A lot of two’s but never three, so this is a great achievement.
“We are all really pleased with Knowle Spring Blonde being handed a gold in beer tasting. It is such a tough market and is so hard to receive gold status. Cook Lane IPA and Poulter’s Porter were also given a silver.
“The Taylor Made family were also awarded as a collection with a diploma in packaging. This is very rewarding for all the hard work that has gone into this new range. It is always great to be recognised and this highlights the fantastic work our marketing team has done with the design.”
The awards will be officially presented at the British Bottling Institute Gala Dinner on November 1st.
