Timothy Taylor’s are pleased to announce that we have found a fantastic couple to take on the tenancy of The Devonshire, Grassington, commencing on 21 January 2019.
Mat and Kirsty Wilson both have extensive pub experience. Mat has been working for Hydes Brewery since 2012, most recently as Operations Manager looking after 16 managed outlets while Kirsty also has experience in the pub industry, having worked in the management team of several Hydes’ outlets.
They have two children, 10 and 2 years old, and plan to live at The Devonshire. They are very much looking forward to becoming full members of both the Timothy Taylor’s family and the Grassington community and running their own outlet.
Timothy Taylor’s acquired The Devonshire, which sits in the heart of the picturesque village of Grassington in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, in summer 2015. After an extensive refurbishment programme the establishment opened for business in December 2015. Many locals and tourists have enjoyed the cosy bar, the range of Timothy Taylor’s championship cask ales on hand pull, locally sourced food and the eight stunning letting rooms.
