Timothy Taylor’s has once again excelled in their recent BRC audit, attaining the AA grading. The BRC accreditation scheme was devised by retailers as a way of ensuring food safety standards and is globally recognised. This year’s result was even more pleasing, challenged by the new, more meticulous version 7 standard. It focuses on food production, packaging and safety throughout the whole supply chain. Nick Berkovits, Second Brewer, leads the programme within Timothy Taylor’s and stated’ we are delighted to receive the highest possible grade for our business. We take food safety very seriously and it’s important for us to be recognised as a supplier of safe beer, brewed consistently to the highest possible quality, for our trade customers and loyal consumers’.
