Keighley-based brewery, Timothy Taylor’s, has recently been announced as the top-selling cask ale by value in the Morning Advertiser's Drinks List - the top brands to stock in 2025.
The list, produced annually, is compiled by insights expert CGA by NielsenIQ, which ranks individual variants in different drinks categories based on volume and value of their sales. Ranging from cask and craft ales to spirits, soft drinks, and wine brands etc.

Sharp’s Doom Bar retained the title of best-selling cask ale by volume, but Landlord has now overtaken in terms of value.
Timothy Taylor’s Landlord has consistently been one of the strongest performing cask ales in the market, placing 8th in 2018, 5th in 2019, 5th in 2020, 3rd in 2021, 2nd in 2022, 2nd in 2023, 2nd in 2024 by volume - but 1st by value.
In a list dominated by breweries who are now owned by multinationals – Sharp’s has been owned by Molson Coors since 2011 and Greene King were acquired by CK Assets in 2019 – Timothy Taylor’s stands out as one of the few regional, family-owned, and still independent breweries in the top 10.
