Timothy Taylor’s introduces our limited-edition charity beer, Well Brewed, a one-off ale specially created in support of the Brewgooder Global Gathering campaign.
Launched in November 2019, the campaign aims to partner with hundreds of breweries in the UK and around the world to brew unique, small-batch beers. A coordinated release of the beers will take place over the weekend of World Water Day – March 20-22nd 2020.
Each Global Gathering brew will raise upwards of £500 contributing to a fundraising target of £250,000 for the overall campaign. All proceeds will be donated to The Brewgooder Foundation and spent on its clean water projects in 2020/21.
Well Brewed is a 3.5% ABV dark amber ale that is well-hopped using traditional and modern English-grown varieties including Fuggles and Goldings and will be launched on Friday 20 March in several pubs within the Timothy Taylor’s estate. These include the Royal Oak in Ripon, the Brown Cow in Bingley, the Town Hall Tavern in Leeds, the Fleece in Haworth, the Grouse in Oldfield, the Dog & Gun in Oxenhope and Malsis, the White Swan in Fence, the White Horse in Thornton, the Crossroads in Wainstalls, the Boltmakers Arms in Keighley, the New Inn in Cononley, the Hare & Hounds in Wadsworth and the Woolly Sheep in Skipton.
The beer will also be a special guest at Ilkley Brewery’s Yorkshire Water Party from 21-22 March which is being held in their brewery yard and is free to attend. It is also being included in the Brewgooder Tap Takeover line-up at Magic Rock Brewery over the same weekend.
If you can, any donations for this wonderful cause would be hugely appreciated and you can do so through Timothy Taylor’s JustGiving site: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/timothy-taylors
